1928, New York. Stock certificate for 100 shares. Blue\Black. Issued to and signed on verso by EDDIE CANTOR. (1892-1964) Acotr and Singer. Cantor often performed in black-face. His credits include Kid Cabaret (1912) with George Jessel. In addition, Cantor worked for Jlorenz Ziegfeld, where he sand many of his best known songs, including “Making Whoopee.” Cantor also helped to found actors’ unions and promoted the March of Dimes. Stamp, perforation and punch cancellations do not affect Cantor’s signature.
