Two wonderful vases for one low price equals a great way to add to your collection. First we have a glorious yellow R.R.P. Co. Art Deco vase. A wonderful hourglass shape, with a soaring bird done in bias relief on the front. Marked on the bottom with R.R.P. Co 1304/8 U.S.A. Roseville, Ohio. Measures 8? tall and the mouth is 6? by 3 ¼?, there are no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind on this piece. Robinson Ransbottom, aka RRP Roseville Pottery Co., of Roseville, Ohio. RRP started in business before 1900, and is now out of business. They were one of American's great old pottery companies. RRP Roseville as it is commonly known, is not the same as the Roseville Pottery Co.; they were two separate companies, both formerly doing business in Roseville, Ohio, and both companies are now out of business.
Next is a wonderful green urn style vase by Alamo Pottery Co. This was a company that was in operation from the 1930s-1950s. Stands 7 ½? tall and the open mouth is 3 ½?. Marked on the bottom with the blue stamped mark Alamo Pottery Co. with a picture of the Alamo in the center and San Antonio Texas below. It also has the number 705 impressed into the bottom. Not a chip, crack or even any crazing mar this stellar piece. Don?t wait to add these to your collection today.
