This painting is a display of all the artistic skill of its master painter, Robert MacIsaac. The bright colors of the burning ship are highly contrasted with the cools of the night sky. The attention to details is typical of MacIsaac and the realistic depiction of water is his trademark. An modest oak frame reflects the colors of the ships and completes the image. The entire piece measures 28.5? x 23?.
