Signed and inscribed on the first free end page in fountain pen to fellow poet Robert Liddell Lowe, “Robert Frost, to Robert Lowe, 1940.” Autographic condition: light toning, an erased pencil notation, and ink ownership notation to signed page, otherwise fine condition. Book condition: VG+/VG-. Brown cloth-covered boards with gilt titles; minor sunning to upper edge; light bump to rear lower corner; moderate yellowing, darker at feps; previous owner’s name in ink on ffep (small and neatly written). Dust jacket has small chips/tears and creases along edges; rubbed and lightly soiled; darkened, mostly along spine and folds; faint pencil notes to rear cover.
