<B>Robert Faulkner Autograph Letter Signed,</B></I> 4.5” x 7”, 3 pages, April 6, 1863, London. Faulkner is writing asking that a crayon drawing of his be sent to his place of business at 46 Kensington Garden's Square. The recipient of the letter, Burt Robwin, was the owner of the gallery where Faulkner's drawing languished. <BR><BR>Robert Faulkner was a photographer with a very high reputation amongst his contemporaries for the quality and success of his child studies. A number of his child studies were published as transparencies and as `red chalk' carbon prints some of which, the <I>Photographic News </B></I>reported had sold over 10,000 copies. He was a close friend of William Morris.
