Howard: <I>Conan the Conqueror</B></I>.</B></I> (New York: Gnome Press, 1950), first edition, 255 pages, maroon cloth with blue lettering on spine and front board, 8vo (5.5" x 8.25"), dust jacket (in protective Mylar). Jacket illustration by John Forte. Jacket design and illustrated endpapers by David Kyle. This is the only novel-length treatment of Conan by Howard, originally serialized in <I>Weird Tales</B></I> from 1935 to 1936. The copy presented here is near fine, with light edge and corner wear. Previous owner's signature on front free endpaper. The dust jacket is also near fine, with minimal wear at the spine and a very small stain above the "e" in "Robert" on the front panel.
