<B>Robert Crumb - The Music Never Stopped - Roots of the Grateful Dead Signed Promo Print (Shanachie Records, 1995).</B></I> The Dead had a lot of influences in their musical Long Strange Trip. This was the cover illustration for a compilation of tunes from those many sources, and Robert Crumb provided great portraits of such diverse artists as Woody Guthrie, Howling Wolf, the Dixie Cups, Merle Haggard, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry and more. Note the crowd grooving to the tunes -- those are some <I>real</B></I> deadheads! The print, signed with a black Sharpie pen by Crumb, measures 16" x 18.5", and is in Excellent condition. Includes a certificate of authenticity from the distributor of the print edition, Barry Silbergeld of Art & Love of Music, who acquired the poster directly from the record company in 1996 and got it signed by R.
