Millikan,” one page, 6 x 8.5, California Institute of Technology letterhead, April 8, 1942. In part: “I want to thank you for your letter…with its enclosure of Robert M. Hutchins’ paper on ‘Ethics, Politics, and Education’…I was present when Mr. Hutchins read his paper and saw some things in it which I thought were good and some which were bad. I am sure that can be said about every one of my own addresses in this broad field.” In very good condition, with notations in another hand at bottom of page, a few wrinkles and creases, and light haloing to signature.
