Fine. The barrel retains 60% original brown finish exhibiting some overall light handling marks and surface scratches. All markings are clear and crisp. The frame has mostly thinned to a mottled gray but shows some large patches of bright original blue in sheltered areas while the ring trigger still retains most of it's bright blue finish. The grips are fine with only minor pressure marks and may have had an extra coat of varnish applied some time ago. The action is sound. A fine example of an American made pepperbox pistol.
