Plains roach, last quarter of the 19th century; made of badger and porcupine guard hair with traces of red dye. The roach has a yarn base of purple, green, and red; it also has a small hole at the crown center. Braided down from the structural base is a brown and black cord "tail". The tail is decorated with a ring. Includes custom stand. 17 ¾ inches (length) x 3 inches (width)
