The piece comes from the late John Nicholas Ringling (1886-1936) estate of the Ringling Brothers Circus. John Ringling was the most well known of the Ringling Brothers and had the town of Ringling, Montana named after him. He owned a considerably large ranch in the Ringling to White Sulphur Montana. He was also the President of the White Sulphur Springs and Yellowstone Park Railway. This piece came from his estate and shows a hand blown glass center piece. The glass piece is reverse hand painted with the Ringling Brothers Circus colors of red and gold with scroll accents in-between. Very well made custom high end piece showing very good condition. Early 1900's. Measures 43.5"H with the center piece being 9.5" in diameter.
