<B>Richard and Pat Nixon Signed Menu.</B></I> Signed: "<I>Dick Nixon</B></I>" and "<I>Pat Nixon</B></I>", four pages, 9" x 12", np, nd. This lovely, patriotically colored menu features the Nixon family, including the daughters, Tricia and Julia. A young Nixon and his wife are pictured along with the girls below an eagle carrying a banner between his teeth, which reads: "Souvenir Menu Pat and Dick Nixon Train." Inside there are two lovely campaign related pages, one featuring a picturing of Dick and Ike and a fantastic quote from Ike: "Never has there been a Vice President so well-versed in the activities of government. Whatever dedication to country, patriotism, loyalty and great ability can do for America, Dick Nixon will do…and that I know." The back cover shows Nixon and Lodge standing on the podium waving to a crowd. Overall, a lovely campaign piece from the 1960 election, in which Nixon would ultimately lose to a young John F. Kennedy. This handsome menu is signed by both Dick and Pat, and is in very fine condition, with some slight toning is visible on the right edge of the pages. Otherwise, this handsome item looks as new.
