<B>Richard Rush 1828 Document Signed as Secretary of the Treasury</B></I> “<I>Richard Rush</B></I>”. One page, 7.75” x 10”, on printed Treasury Department document, dated July 25, 1828. A document signed by Secretary of the Treasury Richard Rush (1780-1859) approving a claim of service in the Revolutionary War. The claimant, Dr. Daniel Shute, was found to be entitled to the pay of a Captain of Infantry.
