Original “honored guest” red, white, and blue campaign pin, 2.25 x 7, for Nixon’s February 5, 1970, presidential visit to Indianapolis, signed on the red portion of the ribbon “Richard Nixon,” and also signed by then Indianapolis mayor (now senator) Richard G. Lugar. Also included is the original Charles Werner charcoal 11 x 11.5 political cartoon, also dated February 5, 1970, depicting Nixon’s arrival and welcome in Indianapolis. Both are archivally matted and framed together with a small photo of Nixon and a name plaque, to an overall size of 28 x 19. In fine condition. Oversized.
