Nixon writes to Harry J. McLaughlin of the Patriot and the Evening News, in part: “I appreciated your thoughtfulness in telling me about Walter Stauffer’s victory in the primary election, and a copy of my wire to him is enclosed.” In very good to fine condition, with a trivial spot of soiling and a few surface dings to photo, and a central horizontal and vertical intersecting fold, a few isolated areas of soiling, and a few surface impressions to the top left corner of the letter. Accompanied by two Senate passes and a secretarially-signed TLS.
