Richard Nixon Typed Letter Signed "Dick". One page, 7.25" x 10.25", personal letterhead, New York, August 18, 1965, to Mr. Paul W. Keyes of Hollywood, California. It reads in full: "Dear Paul: A few days ago a friend gave me a box of Havana cigars which he had purchased in London at the cost of approximately $1.00 each. After trying one, I realized what a mess Castro could make even out of good Havana tobacco. Since you, however, are a better judge of cigars than I am, I am sending the box on to you with the hope that your evaluation of cigars under communism will not be as low as mine. With best personal regards, Sincerely". Bold signature, very fine condition.
