TLS signed “RN,” one page, 5 x 8, personal letterhead, December 13, 1990. Memorandum to Philadelphia Evening Bulletin columnist Adrian Lee, in full: "I thought you might like to see some unconventional wisdom on Gorbachev, the Gulf and other current foreign policy issues." In fine condition, with a rusty paperclip impression to the top edge. Accompanied by the transcript of an 18-page speech given by Nixon on December 7, 1990, entitled: "Remarks by Former President Richard Nixon to the National Republican Congressional Committee President's Forum." In the remarks, Nixon applauds Gorbachev's political actions but criticizes his economic reforms.
