A prolific writer, former President Richard Nixon completed ten books, including his memoirs and several volumes on foreign affairs. <I>The Real War</B></I> focuses on his assertion that, at the close of the 1970s, the U.S. was losing what he described as “World War III.” The half-title page is inscribed and signed in full <I>“To W. W. Combs / With best wishes from Richard Nixon”</B></I>.
