(Springfield, PA: Gauntlet Publications, 2001), first edition limited to 500 numbered copies, 198 pages, illustrated with stills from the 1957 film version <I>The Incredible Shrinking Man</B></I>, gray faux-leather binding with silver lettering and Matheson facsimile signature, 8vo (9.25” x 6”). Science-fiction and cinema legend Richard Matheson (b. 1926) wrote the screenplays for many classic films, but <I>The Incredible Shrinking Man</B></I> (1957), adapted from this novel, first published in 1956, is arguably his finest and most thoughtful work. This edition features a new foreword by Matheson, ten pages reproduced from his original screenplay, and an afterword by David Morrell.
