Actor (1899–1976) who made the transition from silent films to talkies, and is best known for his role as a pilot in the 1927 Academy Award-winning film Wings. Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 photo, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To Jers, With the best of everything. Dick, Richard Arlen.” Some scattered light corner and edge creases, and a few stray ink marks to Arlen’s forehead, otherwise fine condition.
