Actor (1899–1976) who made the transition from silent films to talkies best known for his role as a pilot in the 1927 Academy Award-winning film Wings. Handsome vintage glossy 8 x 10 Reliance Pictures promotional photo for Let ’Em Have It, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “To Saul, Good luck, Richard Arlen.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of March 25, 1936, the date the signature was acquired. In fine condition, with just a few scattered light creases and surface marks.
