Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano - Limited Collectors' Edition #C-58 Superman vs. Shazam, page 64 Original Art (DC, 1978). Not many artists can boast that there's no superhero character that they haven't drawn professionally. Rich Buckler is one of those artists. Buckler rose to prominence in the early 1970s as part of a mini-revolution that saw the likes of Jim Starlin, Bernie Wrightson, Frank Brunner, Mike Kaluta, and others take comics into new realms. One of the most prolific artists in the 1970s, Buckler's speed and vision saw his dynamic pencils grace virtually every major title at both Marvel and DC. The battle between the titans slows while Shazam explains things to Superman, in this page by penciler Buckler and inker Dick Giordano from "Superman vs. Shazam". The image area measures approximately 11" x 15". There are some blue pencil line editorial markings, and tape pieces at all four corners, otherwise this work is in Very Good condition.
