Shot down the bomber carrying Admiral Yamamoto, the man who planned the attack on Pearl Harbor. Yamamoto’s death deprived Japan of its greatest military tactician, thus turning the tide of the war. Limited edition print, 17 x 11, of a Lockheed P-38 Lightning, #614/1000, signed in black felt tip, “Col. Rex T. Barber, Yamamoto mission, 18 April 1943.” Also signed in felt tip by the artist, Joe Milich. Double matted and framed with three photos to an overall size of 22 x 21. In very fine condition.
