Manuscript muster roll, one page, 8 x 12.25, no date but circa early 1787. A document for a training regiment in Springfield, Massachusetts, headed "Roll of the Cadet Company," listing the names of over sixty soldiers, including: Captain Joseph Williams; Lieutenants Thomas Dwight and Charles Sheldon; Ensign Jacob Bliss; Sergeants Calvin Burt, Simon Cotton, Josiah Dwight, and John Morgin; Corporals Henery Stiles, John Hooker, Jonathan Church, and Jeduthan Sanderson; and Privates Samuell Babcock, John Baker, Alexander Bliss, Zenas Bliss, Justin Bliss, Moses Burt, Oliver Collins, Elias Hitchcock, Lyman King, John Worthington Hooker, Daniel Worriner, Gideon Hancock, Martin Cotton, and John Cooley. In very good condition, with scattered light staining, and splitting and paper loss along fragile intersecting folds.
