Jacob Gerrish for the Month of September 1778</B></I>”, four pages total, 8” x 12.75”, with Autograph Endorsements Signed “<I>W Heath</B></I>”, “<I>Ebenr Hancock</B></I>”, “<I>Jacob Gerrish</B></I>” on a third page and docketing on the fourth page, Boston, Massachusetts, October 23, 1778. Fine condition. This fine manuscript details the men and costs associated with guarding British prisoners taken at Saratoga in 1777. The signatory Ebenezer Hancock was John Hancock's brother.
