<B>American Revolution Supporter Comte de Vergennes Letter Signed,</B></I> "<I>De Vergennes</B></I>", seven pages in French, 8" x 12", Versailles, France, October 4, 1772, to the Comte de Creutz. Light soiling, else very fine condition. Charles Gravier (1719 - 1787) , the Comte de Vergennes, was serving as the French Foreign Minister when the American Revolution commenced.
