Huge color 46 x 30 lithograph entitled ‘Review of the Mass. Volunteer Militia at Concord, Sept. 9, 1859,’ and subtitled ‘By His Excellency [Commander In Chief] Nathaniel P. Banks,’ originally drawn by John B. Bachelder, and printed by Endicott & Co. of New York. Scene depicts an enormous panoramic view of the militia on a parade ground, showing infantry, cavalry, and artillery, as a large crowd looks on. Framed to an overall size of 52.5 x 37. In good condition, with moderate toning and dampstaining, a couple small areas of paper loss to right side (affecting only the background), several small areas of surface loss, a few chips, and some light spotting.
