This is an interesting heraldry item, a reverse painted glass coat of arms depicting a double eagle on a sword with a crown above the heard. The banner draped on the sword says "DEUS MEUMQUE JUS". All I can tell you by way of a translation is that Deus is God in Portuguese. The painting is framed in a gilt wood frame and it measures 7.75" square.
