This is the legendary advance teaser one sheet poster for the conclusion of George Lucas's original Star Wars trilogy. When the title was announced as "Revenge of the Jedi," legions of Star Wars fans denounced it, stating "revenge" was not a Jedi Knight quality. Lucas agreed and the title was changed to "Return of the Jedi." All of the advance posters were pulled from release and were supposed to be destroyed. The result was the creation of an instant market for the poster. Light fold wear and a small crease on the fold line. There is an 8" tear on the lower left corner, parallel to the bottom edge. Magic tape was applied on the back, but the paper was overlapped slightly when the tape was put on.
