Vintage delicate filigree work accentuates this Lang crafted sterling silver Retro designed necklace and earring set in original velvet clam shell presentation box. Aquamarine navette & chaton stones are prong-set.<BR><BR>Lang of Providence, Rhode Island, began in 1946, closing in 1977, created quality sterling silver pieces with emphasis on floral and figural motifs.<BR><BR>The necklace measures 17.5 inches and is signed Sterling. The intricately designed focal point measures approximately 4 inches in width with a 2 inch drop and is substantial in weight. Chain has an O ring security clasp. Marked Sterling Lang (letter S is swan logo) on silver plaque. Hand marked price tag is still tied to the necklace indicating stock number and original price of $75.00 (High dollars back in the '40s.)<BR><BR>Earrings are screw back and imprint marked Lang Sterling. The earrings measuring 1 inch look like they have never been removed. Apricot colored velvet scalloped shell case is in very good condition with slight age yellowing to the cream satin lining and minimal rub wear to the exterior velvet covering. Swan logo "by Lang" inscription.<BR><BR>A special find seeing that it is in original presentation box and unworn. If additional photos are desired, please do not hesitate to ask.<BR><BR>
