Restored Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bull Gun G7093C .300 H&H Magnum 28" Bolt Action Rifle

Our Assessment: This is a vintage 1954 pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 Bull Gun. The Bull Gun is a monster with a 28" extra Heavy barrel and provision for mounting all kinds of iron sights or optics. This example is chambered in the venerable .300 H&H Magnum. It's a fairly uncommon configuration for a Winchester Model 70, with all Bull Guns constituting less than half a percent of production. This rifle checks a lot of boxes for the Winchester collector, but should also still make for a great target rifle. Please see our photos and good luck!

The stock has some scattered little nicks and light dings. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 3/8" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has no notable wear or damage with well defined checkering. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its current metal finish. There are a few marks on the trigger guard. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads range from sharp to lightly tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about excellent condition as restored.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
