1836 Republic of Texas autograph letter signed from a D.B. Pyron to his Uncle in Franklin, Tennessee. Pyron references rising property values in Texas and writes that he expects peace to be made by winter, ''…I have no doubt but all good lands here will be worth from ten to twenty dollars in two years after peace is made and nearly all the land here is of the best quality…'' Ink letter measures 9.75” x 7.75”. Near fine condition.
