Folio. 139 pages, forty tables, appendix with eleven tables and 147 plates (some fold-out) of the Croton Aqueduct. <BR><BR>Original brown cloth with titles in gilt on the spine and front board. Boards scuffed and stained with small holes in the cloth especially along the front joint. Corners bumped and frayed. Crack in the front hinge at the verso of the title page. Rear hinge cracked. Contents toned, especially at the preliminary pages. Aqueduct Commissioners compliments card tipped-in.
