Lot of 5. 1) One bottle measuring 12 inches by 3 inches wide. Original rectangular label. On front center is printed “RBC/ Sierra Beer/ Bottled at the Brewery by/ Reno Brewing Co./ Incorporated/ Reno, Nevada.” The upper left of the label is printed “Does Not Contain More Than/ 4 Percentum of Alcohol/ By Volume./ Tax Paid At The Rate/ Prescribed By/ Internal Revenue Law.” and the upper right of the label is printed “Contents/ 11 Fluid oz./ Permit Nev.-U-IIII.” “40 B” is embossed on the lower rear. Crown top, no maker’s mark on bottom. Clear glass, several bubbles in neck and shoulder. Dates back to early 1900s. 2) One bottle measuring 11.5" by 3". Original rectangular label is printed “Mt. Rose/ Malt Rose/ Beer/ This Beer/ Bottled at the Brewery by/ Reno Brewing Co./ Incorporated/ Reno, Nevada.” Several small tears in label. Embossed maker’s mark on bottom, “N B B C CO/ 60.” Crown top with cork remnant in mouth. Clear glass, small chip in lip, interior staining. The Malt Rose beer was produced after 1905. 3) One bottle measuring 11" by 3". The original front label is printed “Reno Brewing Co./ Incorporated/ Royal/ It Can’t Be Beat/ This Beer/ Bottled at/ the Brewery/ Reno, Nevada./ Contents 1 Pint 6 fluid oz.” Crown top with second original label “Royal/ Brand/ Brewed For/ Family/ And Hotel/ Trade” on the neck. Bottom is embossed with a “ W F & S/ F/ MIL” maker’s mark. Amber glass, two cracks in neck, large blister in shoulder, small tears in labels. The Royal Lager was produced after 1905. 4) One quart size blob top bottle, measuring 11" by 3". Front embossed “Reno Brewing Co./ Reno/ Nev.” Bottom bears no maker’s mark. Amber glass, small blister and bubbles near embossing. 5) One pint size blob top bottle, measuring 9" without cap, by 2.5 inches wide. Front embossed “Reno Brewing Co./ Reno/ Nev.” Bottom bears embossed “223/ H” maker’s mark. Ceramic cap printed “Reno Brewing Co./ Reno, Nevada.” Amber glass, several small bubbles, interior staining. The amber pint is considered rarer, “with perhaps only one pint found for every two dozen quarts” [Ref: Nevada History Through Glass, Vol 1, Fred Holabird, 2012, p. 328]. - Jacobitz Collection -59505
