Remington model 48 Sportsman, 20ga, semi-automatic shotgun, factory F grade, serial #3834392. The gun shows 28” barrel, choked Improved Cylinder. Factory ventilated rib, with fancy checkered deluxe walnut stocks. The left side of the receiver shows game dogs at center, bird in flight at rear of frame and landing duck at front. The vignettes are surrounded by highest quality fancy scrolls. The right side of the frame shows game dogs at center with game birds front and rear. Th triggerguard is engraved with the portrait of a dog. The barrel is engraved from the breech beyond the barrel address on both sides. The bottom of the frame is marked Remington Sportsman 48F with the serial number hand-engraved. The left side of the frame beneath game dogs is signed by engraver with initials RPR. The gun remains in fine to near excellent condition with 95-98% original blue, some slight losses at the edges only. The wood is also fine to excellent with pronounced grain, fancy pattern checkering, just some slight storage marks and handling. The gun retains its original butt in its full length and measures 14-5/8” and 14-7/8” to the end of the pad. The action is good, bore near excellent. Est: $4,000 - $8,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
