Remington model 31F, upgraded to “F” grade by Pachmayr. 12ga, 30” barrels, blued finish, elaborately engraved and gold-inlaid in Remington factory inspired scenes, beautifully deluxe wood stocked withelaborate checkering and fleur de lis style, serial #82334. The pistol grip cap is engraved “Donated by Nan and Frank Pachmayr to Ducks Unlimited”. The stock measures 14-1/4” to the end of the wood, 15-1/4” tothe end of the pad. The gun is in fine to excellent as restored and refurbished condition with excellent bore showing little to no use since its upgrade. The left side of the frame shows beautiful hunting dogs andgame birds. The right side shows hunting dogs at center, rabbit at rear, game bird front, surrounded by Remington influenced scroll engraving which extends onto the barrel. The gun shows a low-profile raised ventilatedrib, which is nicely milled. There is some slight storage rust developing on the rib which would clean easily.
