There are slight losses at the muzzle, front sight, edges of cylinder, and a minor index line. The barrel address is crisp, the caliber markings are razor sharp on the left side of the frame. The action is good, interior is very good plus to near fine. The ejector rod housing and small parts are all original and many of the screws show original blue finish. There is a mark on the buttstrap and grips from contact the lanyard that are minor. The original grips are very good plus to near fine and show just slight handling and patina with a slight drifting of the original black color to a light brownish patina. The front sight is its full height and the pistol is completely original and unmolested in any way. An exceptional 1890 that has seen a small amount of honest use and carry, but is a solid 9 to 9.5, on a scale of one to ten. Est: $7,000 - $14,000
