Remington model 1875 single-action revolver in scarce .45 Colt caliber, 5-3/4” original barrel, nickel plated, serial #8, with raised carved ivory grips showing American eagle on right side. The pistol remains in fineoriginal condition showing 90-95% original nickel that is its original satin color and not polished, just some slight scratches, minor losses to the front of the cylinder and firing areas, left front of muzzle frombeing carried in a holster, and other normal aging. The front sight has been reduced slightly, the markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, the action is good, the bore is bright. The ivory grips fit well and are well carved and were probably dealer or owner supplied and show age. Grips are in very good condition, just some normal patina, wear at the edges and some age cracking on bottom. Also note: No lanyard in butt. Fully legiblebarrel address. Est: $7,000 - $14,000
