Remington model 1875 single action revolver, .44-40 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, nickel plated, varnish wood grips, serial #172. In fine to near mint original condition. This exceptional Remington shows 96-98% plusoriginal unpolished nickel finish with just a slight index line and just beginning minimal aging. The varnish wood grips are also fine to near excellent with just miniscule imperfections, bright original blue onscrews. Razor sharp markings, front sight is full height, no marks on cylinder pin, and just some very slight handling and minimal use with bright original bore. A strong 9.7-9.8 on a 1-10 scale. Would be expensiveand very difficult to improve upon. Est: $7,500 - $15,000
