Remington model 1875, .44 Remington caliber single-action revolver. Finely period or factory engraved in deluxe scroll motif. Silver and gold wash finish, original pearl grips, serial #4 on interior of loading gate with no other numbers. The left grip is period incised carved General E. Kraft and right grip shows the Honduran national crest, also incise carved very finely. This exact Remington was featured on Pawn Stars and was previously unknown to the arms collecting fraternity. The revolver shows 30-50% original silver plate which is drifting to patina with some darkening and strong traces of original gold gilt over the silver. The metal surfaces are completely unpolished and uncleaned. The edges are sharp, markings sharp, and no cleaning in modern times. The grips are good to very good with a loss at the rear butt from a chip and some smaller chips on the inside edge. Just behind the triggerguard there is a small engraved #4. The front sight is its original height, the bore excellent. The engraving is beautifully accomplished and of exhibition grade and definitely genuine to the period. Est: $20,000 - $40,000
