Remington model 1858 new model percussion revolver, .44 caliber, serial #65795. The metal surfaces have been lightly cleaned to grey metal. The action is good, bore is very good plus to near excellent. The metal surfaces are sharp, the barrel address is light from cleaning. The grips show a light coating of varnish and are at least very good. The pistol shows a full complement of military proofs. Probably an overrun that was sold civilian as these grips appear to have never had inspections. Est: $600 - $1,200
