Remington double-barrel side by side shotgun, CE grade, two-barrel set, 12ga, serial #P134617. The gun shows an English style straight stock, nicely checkered, double-triggers, auto ejectors. Barrel #1measures 26-1/4”, choked Cylinder (right) and Improved Cylinder (left). The bottom of each barrel marked “RE” and “D5”. With “CYL” stamped on the lugs, “232” and “7”. The barrels show a hand-filed raisednon-ventilated rib. Barrels are in very good condition with 90-95% original blue, just evenly thinning and toning with bright bores showing little use. The frame is lightly scroll engraved showing 20-30% case hardening drifting to silvery grey. The stocks are of select quality with nice grain, very good checkering, with nice panels at each side of frame. The stock measures 13-1/2” to the end of the wood, 14-1/2” to the end of thehard-rubber recoil pad with one spacer. The extra barrel measures 30”, choked Improved Modified and Improved Modified. Shows an old reblued finish with Remington Arms Co. hand-engraved with Ilion, New York address
