Remington cane gun with smooth dog-head grip, .22 rimfire caliber, gutta percha body, serial #59 on tip, refer Flayderman 5E-074-5. The cane gun remains in good to very good condition showing a couple of slight age cracks towards the muzzle and around bead sight. The grip and body are good, mechanism working. These were advertized by Remington as “Just the thing for Taxidermist”, circa 1866 to 1888, one of 500 produced. 33-1/2” overall, with 31-1/2” body, 26-5/8” barrel portion. Seldom encountered and very collectible. Est: $2,500 - $5,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
