Blued single-action semi-automatic U.S. Military pistol with a 5" barrel and one magazine. Made in 1919. Roll-stamps are,"Model of 1911 U.S. Army", "United states Property", "E.E.C.", "AA" on the frame. Stamped "V" on barrel lug and "P" or "HP" on top above chamber. Assembler number "3" on right trigger guard. Finish has faded to a green/brown hue from the preservative. The hammer is the domed wide spur type but it is black and has an "S" stamped on the left side. Magazine is not a two-toned finish. The double diamond grips are almost excellent with one ding on the bottom of the right grip. Bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling. Comes in a cardboard box with Kraft paper dated 1963, a cleaning brush and cleaning rod. All enclosed in a black plastic case. Condition is excellent. *Modern Firearm*
