Remington Rolling Block saddle ring carbine in 11mm or .43 Spanish caliber. The barrel retains approx. 50-70% original blue finish thinning towards the muzzle with some erosion a pinprick pitting just starting. The frame shows 50-70% case hardening with some colorful areas aging naturally. The stock is very good plus to near fine, just some minor handling and storage marks. The tang is fully Remington marked with the last patent date 1874. The action tight, the bore nearexcellent and shows high hammer with saddle ring. The left side of the receiver shows a reverse "D" over "RV" stamping. The barrel band shows a "U" stamp. The belly of the stock behind the tang is marked with a "34", probably sold to a SouthAmerican or foreign government. A crisp and early Remington carbine. Est: $1,400 - $2,800
