Remington Rolling Block model 1870, .50 caliber centerfire pistol, serial number 4141 on bottom of barrel, forward of forend, blue and case hardened finish, cartouche wood stocks. Shows Don Ware number painted on right side of grip, 29-150. The barrel shows Naval anchor and inspection marks, the frame shows P proof over FCW on right side. The barrel retains approx. 70-80% original blue finish, evenly thinning and toning, with some light erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The frame shows 30-50% case hardening drifting to a smoky grey patina. The wood grips are very good with strong cartouche on left, some minor storage marks, handling and slight wear. The edges are sharp, action crisp, bore good. Also of the Jerry Landskron collection. A good example from two of the most recognized Remington collections. Est: $2,500 - $5,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
