Remington Rolling Block Target single shot pistol by George C. Schoyen, .38 cal., 10” half round/half octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered walnut stocks with ivory butt cap and fore end tip, #NSNV. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 95% muted blue on the barrel and approx. 95% muted case colors on the frame with a fine bore, sharp patent markings and barrel address “Geo. C. Schoyen, Denver. Colo.”; crisp action; beautifully checkered wood grips with an ivory butt cap showing age cracks but very good overall and en suite checkered fore stock with ivory insert matching in condition the butt cap; adjustable front and rear sights. Schoyen was to Remington as Pope was to Stevens, Ballard, etc.; with museum or collection tags attached to trigger guard. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
