Remington Rolling Block #1 Creedmore Target single shot rifle, 44-77 cal., 34” half round/half octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, deluxe checkered semi-pistol grip stock, #1623. This gun is in overall very good condition showing the majority of the original blue finish remaining on the barrel marked “E. Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.”, case hardened action and receiver gone to a silvery color with scattered erosions, very good to excellent bore, crisp action, fore stock shows wear to finish but is overall good; the butt stock is in very good condition as re-finished and shows beautiful graining; the case hardened steel butt plate is retained. Front sight is a globe with spirit level and appears to have some age but likely a replacement from the original; the rear Vernier tang sight is modern replacement. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
