Revolver remains in good condition with period likely factory engraving, a silver to gray patina and nice mellow patina ivory grips. Visible 2 line barrel address reads Manufactured by Remington Illion, NY Riders PT Aug. 17 1858 May 3 1859. Approx. 2000 manufactured between 1860-1873 and one of the first double actions made in volume in the United States. Action is good and bore is strong. No FFLrequired.
