Manufactured from 1860 to 1873. Standard two line address/patent dates barrel marking, with the distinctive Joseph Rider design features of the "mushroom" style cylinder, double action mechanism, and straight trigger. The trigger guard is German silver, while the remainder of the gun is blue. Matching serial number on barrel underside, trigger guard, and on left side of frame under the grip. Fitted with checkered grips numbered to gun. With a contemporary brass data plate.

Condition: Very good plus. The barrel retains 30% original blue finish and remaining surfaces retain traces of original blue finish (mostly on the frame) with the overall balance a smooth gray patina. There is some minor pitting (more extensive on the cylinder). The trigger guard is fine. The grips are very fine with some minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.
